"GOT MILK?"

This was painted plainly for my love of the dairy cow, the aesthetic of the animal is visually cool to me and the composition of the cow is reminiscent of Ben & Jerry's (although this wasn't intentional). Subconsciously, however, I believe my Pink Floyd "Atom Heart Mother" T-shirt played a big part in my decision to paint this animal; my love for music and film drip through my work constantly and this particular t-shirt (also the album cover) is a plain picture of a cow and its easily my favourite item of clothing I own.

I'm also a fan of the supernatural, I'm not one of those freaks who wears a tin foil hat so we can leave that opinion at the door! Seriously though, the idea that there is significant life outside our perception realm fascinates me. I know what you're thinking, cows being abducted by aliens? We've seen this before! You're right and you're seeing it again! Why did I do it then? I like the story. The ship is in the distance, we can't see anything else, was this the last cow to go, or the first?
