My favourite film of all time 'Bronson' tells the biopic story of the UK's most violent prisoner 'Charles Arthur Salvador' better known as 'Charles Bronson' starring Tom Hardy as its protagonist.

In reward for 'good behaviour' Bronson was allowed art supplies and soon became quite the artist. His work features the restriction of prison life, watching eyes over his every move, and birds that know the freedom that Bronson can only dream of.

In response to Bronson's work, I decided to paint "ALWAYS WATCHING" which isn't just a response to the prisoner's artwork, but a gritty response to the film itself. The chaotically insane, this piece is filled with emphatic energy, humour and an element of darkness throughout.
