This piece was sparked from a sketch that I had made on a long train journey home, I have always been obsessed with the western-aesthetic and you may have seen some earlier examples in my work.
A much more light-hearted and cartoony approach that isn't always necessarily the prime direction of my paintings, however I do love the expression of this cowboy's face. He seems to be taking a load off after a stressful day of fending of bad guys etc.
